Responsibilities, Requirements, and Total Rewards What You’ll Be Doing As a valuable part of our Dams Team, a Project Manager 2 will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering dam related projects throughout the Northeast with responsibilities such as: Collaborate with a team of experts to design and conduct technical work, address and solve complex engineering challenges Act as the primary point of contact for clients, manage relationships with private, state, and local government clients to promote successful project outcomes Supervise multidisciplinary teams, providing technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight for successful project delivery Prepare and overseeing the development of construction documents, including permit applications, drawings, specifications, opinions of cost, and reports, while maintaining high-quality standards Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to address project needs and resolve design challenges Manage budgets and schedules, keeping projects on track while meeting client expectations and industry best practices Assist with business development, including proposal writing, scope, and budget development What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field Considerable consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in the dams, river restoration, or water resources engineering industry Familiarity with New England and New York dam safety regulations, permitting processes and funding opportunities Licensure as a Professional Engineer Demonstrated project management experience and strong technical skills Strong leadership ability with a passion for managing and mentoring others Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills Enthusiasm for learning and a self-motivated approach to professional growth Preferred Requirements Master’s in a relevant field Familiarity with alternative project delivery methods (e.g., design-build, progressive design-build, and construction manager at risk) Understanding in business development, proposal writing, and strategic planning Additional licensure in multiple states to support diverse project needs Your Financial and Wellness Benefits Compensation is based on skills and experience as reflected in the pay range below Annual Bonus, Profit Sharing, and Employee Stock Ownership Plan Best in Class Medical Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance Wellness Rewards and Reimbursements Tuition Reimbursement and Qualified Student Loan Paydown Contributions Reimbursements for Licensure/ Certification Preparation and Fees Summer Fridays Flextime and Hybrid Work Environment Pet Insurance and Adoption Assistance More Information about Tighe & Bond Ways to Grow Your CareerWe provide a structured career path with opportunities for professional development through tuition reimbursement, internal training, conference attendance, and professional memberships.
