Your role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making by building robust data pipelines and architectures that support advanced analytics and AI initiatives. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures on Azure and Databricks. - You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. - You will lead the integration of diverse data sources ensuring data quality, reliability, and security. - You will mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - You will optimize data workflows for performance and cost-efficiency. - You will implement best practices for data governance and compliance. - You will stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative tools and techniques. - You will contribute to strategic planning and execution of data engineering projects. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Azure and Databricks. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL. - Deep understanding of cloud data platforms, ETL processes, and big data technologies. - Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and real-time data processing. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with machine learning pipelines and AI integration. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering. - Familiarity with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud. - Certifications in Azure Data Engineering or related fields.
