Job Description: Scrum Master/Project Manager Overview: We are seeking a technical Scrum Master/Project Manager to support an IT Application Development team. This role is responsible for delivering software that provides value to business stakeholders and end users. The Scrum Master/Project Manager will lead a team of developers, testers, and analysts to modernize data warehouse and reporting software systems. Desired Skills and Experience: • 3–5 years of Scrum Master or agile project management experience for technical projects • Must have experience working on Data Warehouse and Reporting Systems • Must have experience with AWS solutions in support of enterprise data and application projects • Ability to analyze business process and systems interaction diagrams • Skilled at interpreting business needs and translating requirements into technical design • Strong facilitation of analysis discussions across the project lifecycle • Organizational skills to manage team artifacts and agile ceremonies • Ability to communicate risks, dependencies, and progress to stakeholders • Strong collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams • Agile/Scrum certification a plus • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and MS Teams Responsibilities: • Collaborate with stakeholders and provide excellent customer service by becoming a trusted partner across the IT organization. • Take full ownership of assigned projects, tasks, issues, and impediments—ensuring progress from initiation to completion. This includes actively removing roadblocks, aligning priorities with stakeholders, driving accountability within the team, and maintaining momentum throughout the lifecycle. The Scrum Master/Project Manager will proactively anticipate risks, escalate when necessary, and ensure outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives. • Manage multiple scrum teams, supporting project work, operations, and continuous improvement activities. • Assimilate agile practices into existing team norms and standards. • Influence work breakdown, collaboration, release planning, and sprint planning. • Lead requirements transition and interpretation, release/iteration planning, solution design, creation of JIRA boards, demos and stakeholder presentations, retrospectives, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and grooming sessions. • Create and maintain documentation including JIRA tasks, story and acceptance criteria, architecture diagrams, design artifacts, and project wiki entries. • Track and utilize agile flow metrics to improve delivery and team performance.
