Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Operations Manager to lead our Flatbed/Heavy Haul division. This role is ideal for someone passionate about growing a key industry segment while supporting other transportation modes. As a hybrid or remote position, you'll have flexibility while collaborating with our team to ensure top-tier service. Key Responsibilities • Develop and grow the Flatbed/Heavy Haul segment, identifying opportunities for expansion and efficiency. • Support operations across other transportation modes, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration. • Handle spot quoting for shipments, providing accurate and competitive pricing. • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to foster reliable partnerships. • Solve complex logistical challenges proactively, always prioritizing client satisfaction. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and deliver exceptional results. Qualifications • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in operations management, preferably in flatbed, heavy haul. • Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to go above and beyond. • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment. • Proficiency in logistics software and tools; familiarity with quoting and carrier management systems is a plus. • Self-motivated with a growth mindset and ability to thrive in a hybrid/remote setting. • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field preferred but not required.
