Position Summary: We are seeking a strategic, visionary, and hands-on leader to serve as our Global Director of Supply Chain & Logistics. This high-level position is responsible for designing, scaling, and optimizing all facets of our supply chain and logistics network— sourcing strategy, warehousing, inventory planning, transportation, fleet, distribution, trade compliance and operational analytics. This role will be critical in aligning our supply chain strategy with our sustainability mission and rapid global growth. Key Responsibilities: Must operate and work within our Mission Driven Culture Core Values and Principles and encourage others to do the same. Supply Chain Development, Inventory Planning & Network Optimization: • Develop the strategy behind all supply chain activities which teams would execute upon. • Direct integrated S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) to support growth and customer service levels. • Establish and maintain real-time inventory visibility across divisions and geographic locations. • Architect a resilient and scalable supply chain network through modeling and scenario analysis. Logistics, Transportation & Fulfillment: • Develop the strategy behind all logistics operations including transportation, dispatch, fleet maintenance, and warehouse coordination. • Drive the implementation of national and international logistics strategies across various product lines (e.g., packaged goods, specialty liquids, hazmat, mobile systems). • Oversee vendor relationships with 3PLs and carriers to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental responsibility. • Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and global trade regulations. Cross-Functional Leadership & M&A Integration: • Act as a Center of Excellence, supporting procurement, sourcing, production, and planning teams with best practices and systems across the company. • Develop and provide insight on appropriate team structure for sourcing and logistics activities across the company. • Evaluate and integrate supply chain operations and logistics in the context of mergers and acquisitions. • Champion ERP, WMS, and TMS systems integration and enhancements. Operational Analytics & Performance: • Build and lead a data-driven culture by defining and monitoring KPIs across logistics, inventory, and supply chain operations. • Drive continuous improvement in cost, service, delivery timelines, and operational efficiency. • Deliver actionable insights for operational and executive decision-making. Basic Qualifications: • 10+ years in supply chain management, logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. • 5+ years managing fleet and warehouse compliance (DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, etc.). • Experience managing budgets and using KPIs to drive performance improvements. • Proficiency with fleet management systems, WMS, TMS, and data analysis tools (Excel, ERP platforms). Preferred Qualifications: • 15+ years of progressive experience in global, multi-site logistics and supply chain leadership. • Strong background in manufacturing, chemical handling, and/or sustainability-focused operations. • Experience with global trade compliance and EHS leadership. • Proven success in leading S&OP/IBP processes across enterprise organizations. • ERP/WMS/TMS implementation and optimization experience. • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a bias for action. Licensing & Special Requirements: • Subject to a criminal background check. Working Conditions: Primarily office-based with occasional travel to facilities and logistics centers. Sitting or standing for extended periods may be required.
