Full Description

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA's family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties.Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results. This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting. The anticipated term of this engagement will be 8 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs. CW-Project and Program Management The Continuous Improvement Specialist assists the operations of improvement projects from initial research and assessment stages through the transition and implementation phases. Working under close supervision, this job supports functional teams across the organization to identify and execute improvement strategies that best enhance operations. This job also assists in calculating metrics to measure the impact of process enhancements after they are implemented by the organization. Key Responsibilities and Duties • Assists with conducting process improvement and continuous improvement analyses to identify potential upgrades that would be ideal for business unit goals. • Collects data to support calculating metrics that demonstrate the impact implemented changes have had on the organization. • Helps monitor and test the effective business continuity planning program for the organization. • Implements simple process enhancements to improve operating efficiencies and cost effectiveness. • Conducts risk analysis and modelling to assess probability of specific risks occurring and evaluates the potential value or impact of occurrence with guidance from team members. • Preparing reports for upper management regarding status of project. • Works with functional teams across the organization to discuss and determine needs for business improvements and to strategize possible business solutions. • Collects data for business diagnostics that identify, quantify and prioritize value creation projects in congruence with team feedback and input. • Assists the development of designing processes and procedures that manage and mitigate risks to acceptable levels. • Accumulates feedback from the organization to ensure that the transition to new programs and implemented solutions is smooth and effective. • Participates in continually defining quality issues and determining approaches and methodology for addressing these issues.
