Full Description

Job Description: This role will work on a data team focused on querying, integrating, and analyzing data from multiple data sources within an Information Technology (IT) organization. You will use your experience to extract information from data sets to identify correlations and patterns. Organize and transform information into comprehensible data structures and perform statistical analysis of data. Use a variety of tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs. Prepare reports and present these to management or clients using VA provided data visualization reporting tools. Monitor data quality and recommend fixes for data quality issues. You will maintain data lineage and/or provenance, communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements. Basic Qualifications: • Experience as a Data Analyst • Experience with Microsoft Business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI) • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements. • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree Additional Desired Qualifications: • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance from the U.S. Government Vetting · Candidates selected will be subject to a background investigation for clearance eligibility by our government client. ​​​​​​Compensation: $45,000-$50,000 annually, plus benefits, including medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO and a partial 401k match.
