POSITION OVERVIEW Thunder Funding is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Bilingual (Spanish) Business Development Manager to drive our business growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Identify and pursue new lead sources to drive business growth. • Follow up on existing leads and prospects to nurture relationships. • Engage with prospective clients daily via phone, email, text, and in person. • Provide prompt and effective follow-up on all inquiries and lead communications. • Collect and document relevant information from prospective clients. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data within the company’s CRM system. • Evaluate accounts receivable and aging data to recommend suitable factoring options when applicable. • Maintain a competitive advantage throughout the sales process. • Negotiate pricing in accordance with company guidelines. • Work closely with sales management to adjust pricing and programs to close deals. • Prepare, send, and manage Factoring Services Agreements (FSAs) with potential clients. • Address any questions regarding pricing, services, and contract terms. • Collect, verify, and securely store required documentation from prospective clients. • Assess the company’s potential for winning new transactions. • Submit signed FSAs and initial invoices to the Documentation and Compliance team. • Track all sales opportunities through the CRM system from start to finish. • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, ensuring accurate information is provided to clients and referral sources. • Assist with client inquiries and address their needs as they arise. • Stay current on industry trends, including trucking industry updates, competitor activities, and evolving sales techniques. QUALIFICATIONS • Education: Associate degree required, or equivalent combination of skills and experience. • Experience: o Minimum of 1 year of direct sales experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field. o Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). o Knowledge of factoring or the transportation industry is a plus, but not required. o Previous experience using Salesforce CRM is a plus. SCHEDULE Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (local work location time). Training Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (PST) for the first two weeks. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, or Wyoming. We are unable to consider applicants residing outside of these locations at this time. Offering a sign-on and training bonus. PAY RANGE Base pay of $19.24 to $21.16 per hour, with commission potential exceeding $20,000 annually. Please note that the pay range base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies.
