Founding Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Full-Time) Company Thunder Compute is a GPU cloud platform built on custom virtualization that delivers 5x better margins than competitors. 4-person team, seed-funded (approaching series A), 100%+ MoM revenue growth. 100% in-person, currently in Atlanta and relocating to SF or NYC within 6 months. We are building a cloud platform backed by our virtualization stack, where we network-attach GPUs over TCP through API remoting. This lets us oversubscribe hardware aggressively; we have a pool of GPUs used by 3-4 times more servers than other platforms. Role Your responsibility is to build robust, stable, and reliable infrastructure for our cloud platform. Day-to-day, you will collaborate with cloud customers to fix issues and implement new features. Your priorities are stability and maintainability. Responsibilities Core technical skills: GoLang Kubernetes Experience managing production systems at scale Must haves: Strong attention to detail Strong communication skills Self-driven (you'll own your work from day 1) Preferred 3+ years of experience building infrastructure for a trading firm or cloud provider Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Compensation Full-time, salaried + equity. You'll report to Co-founder/CTO Brian (ex-Citadel quant dev).
