As a 100% prospecting, outside sales position, the Software Account Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities through face-to-face client engagement and live product demonstrations. Key Responsibilities: • Proactively identify and pursue new business prospects within the assigned territory. • Conduct in-person meetings and software demonstrations with potential clients. • Actively participate in local networking opportunities, including Chamber of Commerce events, business expos, and professional groups. • Maintain a strong presence in the community to build brand awareness and foster relationships with local businesses. • Perform more than 50% of work activities outside of a home office environment. Basic Qualifications • 4+ years of related sales experience (7+ years is preferred) • 3+ years of experience in an (outbound) full sales cycle outside sales role is required • Door to Door sales experience • Experience in a SaaS role or company is preferred, but not required • The ideal candidate will have experience in Enterprise-level sales (not a requirement) • Strong industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships. • Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures • Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems • Associate degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience required Who We Are At Thryv, we’re a team fiercely devoted to the success of local businesses.
