The Senior Data Analyst, Marketing Analytics is the primary analytics partner for Thryv’s Marketing and Demand Generation teams. This role works closely with the CMO, Marketing leadership, and cross-functional partners to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that improve performance, efficiency, and growth. As part of Thryv’s centralized Data & Insights team, this role goes beyond reporting owning the development of scalable data models, defining success metrics, and proactively surfacing insights that enable better decisions across the marketing funnel. The ideal candidate brings a strong bias toward action, thrives on seeing work through to impact, and takes pride in enabling stakeholders to confidently act on data. Responsibilities • Analyzes marketing performance across channels (paid media, lifecycle/email, programmatic, content, social, and partnerships) to identify optimization opportunities and tradeoffs. • Proactively surfaces trends, anomalies, and risks, connecting the “what” to the “why” and clearly outlining recommended actions. • Designs, builds, and maintains robust marketing data models that support funnel analysis, attribution, cohorting, and ROI measurement. Defines and owns core marketing metrics and KPIs (e.g., CAC, CPL, ROAS, LTV, conversion rates), ensuring clarity and consistency across teams. • Builds and maintains executive-ready dashboards and self-service reporting in Domo that drives alignment and accountability. Enables marketing stakeholders to confidently use data by providing context, guidance, and clear narratives; not just charts. • Partners with Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering to improve data quality, documentation, and scalability of marketing datasets. • Collaborates closely with Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, Finance, and RevOps to ensure alignment across systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and ad platforms. Who We’re Looking For • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required • 5+ years of related experience, required. • 9+ years of related experience, preferred. • Familiarity with marketing mix modeling or predictive analytics preferred. • Strong experience in marketing analytics, ideally within a B2B SaaS or subscription-based business. • Deep understanding of marketing performance metrics, funnel dynamics, and attribution concepts. • Proven ability to build and work with analytical data models. Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools (Domo strongly preferred; Looker or Tableau acceptable). • Exceptional ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights. • Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and presenting recommendations with confidence. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and impact. • Ability to travel less than 5% of the time. • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required. • Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed. Pay Transparency The base salary for this position is $80K-107K per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
