Job Title: Risk Consulting - Workers Compensation Compliance Consultant Location: Remote Duration: 6-month contract Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Consultant to assist clients in meeting state reporting requirements for Workers’ Compensation Qualified Self-Insurance and compliance with monopolistic fund regulations. This is a remote, 6-month contract position ideal for candidates with prior experience handling multi-state reporting and compliance processes. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple clients and state-specific deadlines while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities • Maintain and adhere to schedules for reporting requirements for each client, by entity and state. • Collect payroll, hours, loss information, financial statements, and other documents from clients, TPAs, or other sources as required. • Follow up with clients and third parties to meet tight deadlines and maintain compliance with strict state requirements. • Monitor and update the status of all activities, ensuring data is accurately entered into state web portals. • Guide clients in certifying and signing off on required information through state web portals. • Maintain detailed records of all activities, including document requests, data submissions, actuarial reports, and proof of payments. • Review surety bonds and other security requirements with each state, providing necessary documentation and supporting information as needed. Qualifications & Skills • Prior experience managing Workers’ Compensation compliance and state reporting requirements in multiple states. • Strong proficiency in Excel and other reporting tools. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset. • Strong follow-up and diary management discipline. • Ability to learn and navigate various state web portals efficiently.
