Our client, a leading radiology services organization, is seeking a PACS Solution Architect (remote, contract) who will be responsible for assisting in the design, consolidation, and implementation of a new enterprise PACS environment. This role will encompass end-to-end PACS architecture development, workflow analysis, DICOM routing configuration, image migration, and system integration activities to support a seamless transition into a unified PACS platform. Type: Contract, Remote Start: November 2025 Position Description: Assist in creating an end-to-end PACS architecture that aligns with organizational and clinical requirements. Conduct workflow design analysis for the new consolidated PACS environment to enhance imaging operations. Support DICOM routing configuration and troubleshooting to ensure efficient communication between imaging systems. Assist with the migration of images and reports to the new PACS system, maintaining data integrity and accessibility. Collaborate with internal teams to support integrations with related PACS and healthcare systems. Participate in system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure successful implementation. Requirements: Proven experience in PACS architecture design and implementation. Strong knowledge of DICOM routing and PACS system consolidation. Experience in migrating images and reports between PACS systems. Hands-on experience with eRAD and NRAD (National Radiology Solutions) platforms. Comprehensive understanding of imaging workflows and healthcare IT environments.
