Overview Welcome guests with warmth and hospitality as a Host at Velocity Wings, where you'll be the first point of contact for our valued customers. As a Host, you will create a positive first impression by greeting guests, managing reservations, and seating them promptly. Your friendly and welcoming demeanor will contribute to our mission of providing delicious, fresh food and affordable family fun in a championing community environment. Responsibilities • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly first impression. • Manage reservations and waiting lists, ensuring efficient seating of guests. • Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and service. • Handle guest inquiries, providing information about the restaurant and menu options. • Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area. Qualifications • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours). • Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (e.g., menus, high chairs, booster seats). • Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally. • Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones. • Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment. • Ability to remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
