This position requires collaborating with customers to arrange service schedules with a focus on flawless execution. Your dedication will be essential in maintaining confirmation communications with customers and conducting post-service courtesy calls. A Day in the Life: • Handle scheduling service requests for the ULS division, ensuring services are performed timely and meet customer expectations. • Coordinate the service scheduling process through to completion. • Collaborate with clients to coordinate service appointments. Set up confirmation messages and perform follow-up courtesy calls after services. • Coordinate and track scheduling timelines with Field Service. • Ensure training and application support activities are coordinated and scheduled. • Facilitate partnering concerns as needed, driving customer solutions. Experience: • High School/GED is required • Minimum 3 years of prior experience working in customer service and/or in a scheduling function. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: • Demonstrate strong communication abilities, both in writing and verbally, to effectively convey concepts, disseminate technical details, and interact proficiently with clients and diverse levels within the company. • Possess analytical and critical thinking abilities to evaluate, interpret information and procedures, and make timely decisions in a fast-paced, changing work environment. • Possess interpersonal skills to meet deadlines and assist staff in multi-tasking. • Be able to apply good judgment and decision-making skills in addressing a variety of routine and non-routine issues. • Should be self-motivated, stress and pressure resistant, and a quick learner. • Intermediate proficiency in computer applications: i.e. Microsoft Word, Outlook. • Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work with attention to detail. • Capability to perform effectively autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team setting. • Capability to work additional hours as required by workload. • Demonstrate Thermo Fisher Scientific values - Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement. • Assist customers requesting equipment service repair via incoming telephone calls and email.
