They are exclusively focused on the laboratory needs of healthcare systems, government laboratories, national and independent reference labs, physician office labs and healthcare clinics, providing access to top brands and key products that enable clinical labs to perform the right diagnostics at the right time, in the right place. As a Senior Product Specialist-Specialty Diagnostics, you will be responsible for selling diagnostic capital equipment and consumables to our healthcare partners. In this role, you will partner with our Fisher Healthcare selling team and customers, driving revenue growth within a defined territory for our innovative Specialty Diagnostics portfolio. This role requires focus on finding new business and rapidly growing our current customer testing needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver an outstanding customer experience passionate about supporting our customers with their laboratory goals Support multiple sales representatives by providing information specific to our diagnostics portfolio, including technical information/presentations, product recommendations for customer applications, and other technical support Prospecting new customers and opportunities in addition to growing our existing customer portfolio Execute the sales cycle and process in a manner that drives results, professional, ethical, persuasive and leads the customer to action Develop, present and implement sales strategies and plans to expand business within assigned territory using Salesforce and other CRM tools for effective customer and business strategy management Continuously improve knowledge and learn any New Product Introduction of the clinical chemistry, immunoassay and microbiology market, its trends and our competitors Independently make decisions while using available resources to meet customer needs Team oriented - work with a cross-functional matrixed team of supplier and internal partners Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations Conduct business reviews with the Account Executive team or by self Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience required. Prefer experience in healthcare sales, medical device, or capital equipment sales, preferably in Clinical Diagnostics Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in the sciences, M.S. preferred Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills Experience in presenting complex information both verbally and written Proven track record of sales performance Must be willing and able to travel ~50% of the time Demonstrate the Thermo Fisher values (The Four I’s) – Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement. Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Washington is $83,300.00–$124,925.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
