How will you make an impact? As a Senior Director of Sales at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will support revenue growth and market leadership across our innovative portfolio of scientific products and solutions. You'll guide a high-performing commercial team while developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets. Working in a collaborative matrix environment, you'll partner across divisions to deliver exceptional value to our customers in healthcare, research, and industry. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer through our industry-leading technologies and solutions. How will you get here? Education Bachelor degree preferred in business, science, engineering or related field Relevant industry certifications a plus Experience 10 years of relevant experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or related technical industries Strong record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets and supporting profitable growth Experience leading and developing large sales teams in a matrix environment Strong business acumen with P&L management experience and ability to develop/execute commercial strategies Demonstrated ability to build and maintain C-level customer relationships Excellence in sales operations including forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM utilization Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills Strategic thinking with ability to analyze market trends and competitive dynamics Experience working with multiple sales channels including direct, distribution, and e-commerce Effective talent management skills - recruiting, developing and retaining team members Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and divisions globally Proficiency with sales tools, CRM systems and business analytics Travel up to 50% required Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $205,400.00–$308,075.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
