Location/Division Specific Information Our Materials and Structural Analysis business helps customers drive cutting-edge research and discoveries by delivering innovative solutions, such as world-class scanning and transmission electron microscopes, combined with advanced software suites. Our EM Certified team is responsible for generating a new revenue stream by actively trading-in, refurbishing and reselling previously owned systems. The Mission and Position The Logistics Specialist III EM Certified is responsible for hands-on Logistics support, leading dedicated improvement projects and documentation of Certified processes. You will work closely with other functions in our existing MSD organization to develop and adopt new processes to support the Certified business. The Logistics Specialist III EM Certified will report to the Operations Manager and will work closely with all Certified team members, 3rd party logistics companies and other Thermo Fisher Scientific team members. Responsibilities: Main responsibilities include: • Hands-on daily Logistics support for the Certified team in planning de-installations, shipments, and parts orders. • Lead dedicated improvement programs that supports the Certified business, incorporating Certified business processes in overall sales and service processes. • Collaborating with the team to identify and deploy process improvements • Proactively and effectively communicate to the team and stakeholders • Supporting ad-hoc requests Education and experience • Bachelors Degree and 6+ years of experience, or High School Diploma and 10+ years of experience in similar logistics/ project management roles • Passionate about continuous improvement, identifying and driving improvement projects • Proficiency in Communication and Change Management • Proven Project Management skills • Out of the box problem solver who is comfortable challenging traditional norms and status quo
