In this role, you will handle crucial lab support activities and be the primary point of contact for lab personnel, manufacturing science and technology, and facilities. Responsibilities • Asset management in Maximo, Tango, and other applicable CMMS systems. • Commission, qualify and validate new assets. • Decommission old assets. • Create and Schedule work orders for preventative maintenance, calibrations and repairs. • Coordinate with Facilities to support work order completions. • Lab Space planning, coordination and management. • Environmental Chamber Management (after hours failures, PM’s, responding to alarms). • Updating Emergency call sheets as needed for environmental chambers and other administrative tasks. • Coordinate and support Freezer Maintenance with Takeda Lab Services, contractors and lab end users. • Movers, corrective action requests/troubleshooting, service events-work orders. • Offsite Calibration Coordination with vendors, i.e., pipette calibrations, etc. • CMMS Responsibility (certifications, record keeping, electronic asset management. • Quality Systems & Administration (records management, validation document drafting-GXP). • Assist with and coordinate tools needed for lab cleanouts (alert housekeeping staff, procure bins and totes for garbage, Biowaste and chemicals as needed. • Restock PPE and other lab supplies as needed. • Onsite/off site on-boarding. Education High school diploma required, College degree preferred. Experience 3+ years’ experience in a laboratory setting required. GxP experience required. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • Become proficient in both Maximo, Tango, and other applicable CMMS systems. • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams). • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a safety-first approach. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. • Ability to work independently and delegate tasks to others. • Physical Requirements / Work Environment • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills. • Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. • Willingness to work in multifaceted environments. • Ability to work overtime as needed.
