Location/Division Specific Information: As part of the BioServices team, the Rockville, MD site focuses on the receipts, inventory storage, withdrawal and shipment of biological specimens, samples, and materials from multiple government clients. How Will You Make an Impact?: The Material Handler I supports operations by storing and shipping materials at temperatures ranging from ambient (room temperature) to -196 degrees C with potentially hazardous properties. A Day in the Life: Receive incoming and ship biological samples Facilitate movement of materials, including hazardous materials, across the site Maintain accurate inventory through receipts, shipments, inventory maintenance projects, and inspections Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
