Learn More: https://www.thermalradar.com/ Position Overview: The Regional Sales Director is a vital role focused on driving sales revenue growth and achieving revenue targets within assigned territories. This position requires a HUNTER approach to securing new customer accounts, managing existing relationships, and nurturing value-added reseller partnerships. The Regional Director will conduct market and competitor research, create compelling case studies, and represent the company at trade shows to enhance brand visibility and capture new opportunities. This position emphasizes creating and maintaining strong customer and channel partner relationships, identifying client needs, and participating in business negotiations. The Regional Director will analyze the current customer base, identify potential prospects, and develop strategies to enhance sales opportunities. Responsibilities: • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and lead-generation initiatives. • Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a robust pipeline of potential customers. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned sales territory through targeted outreach, networking, and lead-generation initiatives. • Develop in-territory strategies to identify potential sales opportunities and effectively pitch goods or services to new and existing clients. • Develop and implement aggressive sales strategies to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas within the assigned domestic region. • Regularly analyze sales metrics and performance data to ensure alignment with targets and make data-driven adjustments to sales tactics as needed, and keep all CRM records updated at all times. • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders to drive loyalty and satisfaction. • Identify strategies to deepen customer relationships and oversee the execution of these strategies. • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Own the customer relationship before, during, and after the sale. • Work closely with value-added resellers to expand market reach and drive additional sales opportunities. • Plan and prepare sales processes, documentation, and presentations to ensure professionalism and effectiveness in customer interactions. • Follow up on new business opportunities by setting meetings, product demonstrations, and maintaining communication with prospects. • Develop sales proposals and respond to customer inquiries and RFPs in a timely and professional manner. • Ensure adherence to the defined sales process and best practices to optimize conversions and achieve revenue. • Demonstrate (weekly, MIN 3-5 in-person) company products to prospects, existing customers, and partners to showcase features and benefits effectively. • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs that inform sales strategies and enhance competitive positioning. • Gather and provide feedback from customers and partners to inform product development and marketing efforts. • Use insights gathered to develop targeted sales pitches and strategies that resonate with prospective customers. • Create compelling case studies that highlight successful customer engagements and showcase the company's value proposition. • Utilize case studies in presentations and marketing efforts to enhance credibility and attract new clients. • Actively participate in assigned trade shows and industry events to promote the company's products and services. Take the logistics lead on trade shows held within the assigned territory states. Assist with delivery, setup, teardown, and general booth operations. • Conduct post-event follow-ups to capitalize on leads generated. • Active daily engagement with the Lead Generation Tool. • Maintain and update deal progress in HubSpot or other CRM tools for forecasting and reporting accuracy. • Undertake any other assigned duties as necessary to support the sales effort and company objectives. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in the security industry. • Minimum of 10 years of field sales experience, with at least 5 years focused on physical security technology in domestic markets. • Demonstrated history of long-term commitment and sustained impact in prior roles. • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPI standards. • Deep understanding of security sales principles and methodologies, particularly in identifying and converting leads effectively. • Strong negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive sales presentations. • Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and partners, and demonstrate consistent follow-up and follow-through. • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools to track performance and manage customer relationships. • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time with overnights. Weekly travel is the expected norm. • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to excellence. • Thermal camera sales experience a MAJOR PLUS.
