Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, assisted living, nursing homes, and community environments. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized memory or dementia care. Responsibilities • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support • Provide patient observation and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and well-being • Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA guidelines • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary • Support residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, or other developmental disabilities through specialized care techniques • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and observations in compliance with healthcare regulations • Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility • Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment • Follow prescribed care plans developed by healthcare professionals and communicate effectively with team members and family members • Respond promptly to emergencies or changes in patient condition using CPR or first aid skills when required Qualifications • Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or working with people with disabilities is preferred • Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards is essential • Experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care is a plus • Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings including group homes or community-based environments • Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on the facility’s needs Join our team to provide vital support that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being for those in your care.
