Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting Team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounts payable experience in a mid-size to large corporate environment and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. This role will support end-to-end AP functions while ensuring accuracy and compliance for all outgoing payments. Key Responsibilities Invoice Processing • Process a high volume of vendor invoices and credit memos accurately, ensuring timely entry and proper coding in accordance with payment terms • Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, material receipts, and invoices • Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers Account Reconciliation & Analysis • Analyze and reconcile vendor accounts and statements (via portals when available) to ensure timely resolution of outstanding items such as credit memos, overpayments, and past due invoices • Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies related to vendor invoices and payments • Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and vendors to address AP-related issues, including revising POs and invoices when necessary for accurate matching Communication & Relationship Management • Maintain strong vendor relationships by ensuring accounts remain current and any aged or stale items are addressed promptly • Partner with purchasing and operations teams to resolve vendor-related issues efficiently and communicate outcomes clearly to internal stakeholders and vendors. Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: • High school diploma or GED required • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced accounts payable environment; preferably within an enterprise or large corporate setting processing 1,000+ invoices monthly SPECIFIC KNOWELDGE, AND SKILLS: • Proven ability to process and code invoices accurately and reconcile large vendor accounts across multiple entities or business units • Proficient in performing weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers • Familiarity with purchase order (PO) matching, three-way matching, and vendor payment schedules • Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems and standard accounting software • Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills to meet strict deadlines • Proficiency with general computer systems and financial tools • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with vendors • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining accuracy and accountability Pay Range: $23.00-$27.00.
