Our unparalleled products and services across our three domestic destinations, Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Aulani Resort delivers Disney's legendary commitment to creativity and service for groups and events.The Sales Manager role is responsible for developing new group business opportunities for the Walt Disney World Resort. In this role, the Sales Manager will identify, acquire, and convert targeted meeting opportunities through a variety of sales activities which may include in-market travel. The ideal candidate is a dynamic sales professional with group and convention business experience. They will possess the ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives against an assigned market. This role is responsible for driving high revenue meetings to the Walt Disney World Resort. Strong business acumen, meetings expertise, and hospitality sales experience is required.You will report to the Sales Director - Resort SalesThis is a Full-Time position.What You Will Do:Develop meeting opportunities through new business acquisition, sales calls, tradeshows, and other sales activitiesDevelop targeted sales plans against assigned marketsDesign and host site inspections and client entertainment opportunitiesCraft creative meeting and event solutions representative of the Disney brandRepresent the Disney brand in all client interactionsRequired Qualifications & Skills:At least three years of experience in Resort/Group/Convention Hotel Sales, National Sales, Global Sales, or Catering SalesHospitality experience in a group/convention sales environment within the past two yearsExperience in sophisticated and complex groupsDemonstrated client management and knowledge of market conditions and buyers in national and competitive marketplacesProficiency with Digital selling, virtual site visits, and Social Media technology in a sales environmentAbility to travelPreferred Qualifications:Multi-Hotel or Cluster SalesDestination Management Organizations & Hotel Experience combined is a plusExperience in the Orlando marketLuxury brand experienceIndustry accreditation (CMP, CASE, CHSE)Participation in a local/regional/national hospitality industry organizationPreferred Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalentAdditional Information:Benefits and Perks: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
