Job Summary The Machine Operator is responsible for running printing related machines.  This is a third shift position with hours from 9:30pm-6am, Sunday through Thursday with a shift differential. What You’ll Do… * Properly use machines * Make proper use of test and inspection devices as required by the group leader and/or job packet. * Prepare daily time accountability and paperwork. * Read and follow job paperwork as required. * Maintain safe and clutter-free work area. * Enter recommendations to management for improvements in areas such as personal safety, improved product quality, better rates and yields, or any other matters that impact shop costs or employee’s health. * Perform packaging, assembly, duties as directed by group leader * Do other tasks as directed by the group leader. What You’ll Bring… * Set up machines as required. * Recognize quality, acceptable product. * Assist in the training of inexperienced persons. * Be skilled in the operation of many pieces of equipment throughout the plant(s). * Be sufficiently skilled to work with minimum supervision once initial training is completed and verified by the supervisor. * Employee must pass the job-related physical requirement testing.
