Job Title: Masking Technician Status: Full Time (Temp-to-Hire) Work Type: In Person Pay: $21.00 per hour Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:30am–3:30pm Location: Blaine, MN About Our Client: Our client is a trusted provider of high-quality metal finishing services for industries such as aerospace, medical, defense, and electronics. Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-focused Masking Technician to support production operations in a precision finishing environment. In this hands-on role, you will apply masking, taping, plugging, and related techniques to prepare parts for anodizing and coating processes. The ideal candidate has a stable work history, strong attention to detail, and enjoys working with their hands for extended periods. Prior masking or plugging experience is encouraged, and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly is essential. Key Responsibilities: • Apply masking materials including tape, caps, plugs, and custom coverings to metal parts • Follow work instructions and diagrams to ensure accurate masking placement • Inspect parts for proper coverage, cleanliness, and quality requirements • Use basic computer systems to review job information and record work activity • Maintain an organized workstation and ensure parts are correctly labeled • Perform repetitive hand and finger movements with precision and accuracy • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors • Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements Requirements: • Stable work history is required • Must be able to read, write, speak clearly, and understand English • Basic computer skills required • Prior masking and/or plugging experience is highly encouraged • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive fine-motor tasks • Comfortable working with hands and fingers for extended periods • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions reliably • Team-oriented, dependable, and quality-focused Physical Requirements: • Frequent sitting or standing while working with small components • Repetitive hand and fine-motor movements • Ability to lift up to 20–30 lbs occasionally • Work performed in a production environment with moderate noise About Us: At The Vision Companies, we go beyond matching skills to job descriptions.
