Duties • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. • Manage food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold quality standards. • Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, for efficient cash handling and transaction processing. • Conduct inventory control to manage stock levels and minimize waste. • Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance performance and ensure exceptional customer service. • Implement training programs focused on food handling, safety, and operational excellence. • Lead shift management activities to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. • Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership practices. • Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new staff members. • Monitor financial performance through budgeting and cost control measures. • Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards. Qualifications • Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry. • Strong knowledge of food service management principles, including kitchen management and culinary experience. • Familiarity with inventory control processes and cash handling procedures. • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management. • Ability to train and develop staff effectively while promoting teamwork. • Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is a plus. • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills. • Knowledge of food production, catering, banquet experience, or barista/coffee experience is advantageous. • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
