UPS Store 7816 World Class Customer Service provider Mandatory Hours: (30-35 hours per Week to start with) THIS IS NOT A SEASONAL JOB. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TEMPORARY JOB. Shift 1: (Store Opener) Mon- Fri 8:15AM PM to 3:00PM Sat: 9:15AM-3:15PM Shift 2: Mon- Fri 2PM to 7:15PM Sat: 9:15AM-3:15PM Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly Responsibilities: • Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries • Must have computer Skills to use MS-Word, Mail, Adobe Products and Printing Machine. • Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership • Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions • Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends • Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment • Stays current with web based training and best practices • Empathizes and manages demanding, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience • May open and/or close the store and perform end-of-day accounting, etc. • Packages shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents • Takes ownership of customers’ packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offers viable solutions Skills: • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and math • Prompt, reliable, and responsible • Able to lift 40 pounds • Must be located within 5 miles of Livonia • Must have reliable transportation • Should become a notary (Expenses will be taken care) • Prior UPS store associate experience is not needed Additional Good To have - Prior UPS store associate experience - POS Knowledge: Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and ability to process transactions accurately Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
