Role Overview: As an Electrical Systems Engineer at Exmark, a division of The Toro Company, you will play a critical role in advancing both conventional and electrified outdoor power equipment. This position focuses on designing, developing, and integrating electrical systems that enhance product performance and reliability. What You'll Do: - You will design and develop electrical systems for outdoor power equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing to deliver integrated solutions. - You will perform system-level testing and validation to guarantee product quality and performance. - You will troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues throughout the product lifecycle. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize design and manufacturing processes. - You will document design specifications, test results, and technical reports clearly and accurately. - You will stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation. What You Bring: - A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in electrical systems design, preferably in outdoor power equipment or automotive industries. - Proficiency with electrical design tools such as CAD software and circuit simulation programs. - Strong understanding of electrical components, wiring, and control systems. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Effective communication skills for technical documentation and cross-team collaboration. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with electrified powertrain systems or battery management systems. - Knowledge of regulatory standards related to electrical safety and emissions. - Familiarity with embedded systems and software integration. - Advanced degrees or certifications in electrical engineering or related disciplines.
