The CyberSecurity Implementation Specialist will execute policy compliance, security awareness training, and assist with incident responses within the CyberSecurity Program. Additionally, the role will support data and solution engineering efforts, collaborating closely with the technology team and managed service providers.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field, along with entry-level experience or coursework in information security, system administration, or software development. A basic understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and familiarity with cloud platforms is also required.
Position Purpose The CyberSecurity & Implementation Specialist position is a hybrid role that executes policy compliance, security awareness training and assists with incident responses within our CyberSecurity Program. The balance of the role will support our data and solution engineering efforts. The position will work closely with the entire technology team and regularly interface with our managed service providers. This position is ideal for early-career professionals who are exploring opportunities in cybersecurity and would like to be on a team building predictive and generative tools. Primary Responsibilities Cybersecurity (~50%) Support implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls under the guidance of the Chief Information Officer and System Administrator of Foundation Systems. Collaborate with external Managed Security Solution Provider (MSSP) partners for incident monitoring, triage, and reporting. Conduct user access reviews, system risk assessments, and basic vulnerability monitoring. Coordinate security awareness training and support simulation campaigns by our MSSP and penetration team. Maintain documentation for incidents, corrective actions, and compliance audits. Assist in implementing security controls on software tools and cloud environments. Solution Engineering (~50%) Participate in solution design, integration, and testing within The Signatry’s technology stack (CRM, FMS, marketing automation, etc.). Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot applications under supervision, ensuring data integrity and secure inter-system connections. Develop scripts or workflows for automation and process efficiency using low-code tools or basic programming. Help gather technical requirements and document business processes for new solutions. Collaborate with partners to ensure systems are designed and configured according to security and privacy standards. Provide responsive technical support to business users during system implementations or upgrades. Key Qualifications and Skills Essential Alignment with The Signatry’s mission, values, and statement of faith. Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Entry-level experience or coursework in information security, system administration, or software development. Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls). Working familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud or AWS. Basic scripting or integration experience using Python, PowerShell, or REST APIs. Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to balance competing priorities. Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated problem-solving approach with a willingness to learn. Preferred Industry certification(s) such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer. Exposure to CRM (e.g.,HubSpot), data integration, or identity access management. Experience coordinating incident response or technology improvement projects with third-party vendors. Work Location This full-time, salary position can be based in our corporate office in Overland Park, KS in a hybrid in-office/WFH setting; or can be considered a remote position based upon the candidate.
