The Opportunity You’ll lead brand and product marketing, oversee communications, and coordinate omnichannel GTM strategies across DTC, retail/distributors, marketplaces, social commerce, and education/events. You’ll also develop a practical AI competence playbook that outlines clear workflows, helping teams think bigger and deliver smarter. What You'll Do (Outcomes Over Activity) Brand & Product Marketing • Define the brand narrative, messaging system, and visual guardrails, ensuring they remain consistent across all touchpoints. • Transform customer insights into positioning, pricing, and launch stories that span multiple channels. • Create integrated campaigns that balance craftsmanship, speed, and business impact. Human‑Led, AI‑Enabled Marketing Craft • Build and socialize an AI‑competence playbook, including content ops, research/insights support, media optimization, and lifecycle personalization, with human oversight at every step. • Develop practical tools such as copilots, prompt libraries, and automation where helpful, and coach teams to improve skills over time. • Keep the technology stack modern and logical, including analytics, attribution, CRM/CDP, CMS/DAM/PIM, to support digital-first execution. Communications & Reputation • Lead PR/earned media, executive & educator thought leadership, awards, and speaking engagements. • Maintain issues/crisis playbooks and spokesperson training; ensure message consistency and brand integrity. Omnichannel GTM • Orchestrate GTM calendars across DTC, social, retail/distributor, education, and events; provide channel-ready toolkits. • Expand creator/affiliate and ambassador programs with defined tiers, incentives, and brand safety standards. • Collaborate with Sales on promo structure and boost sell-in/sell-through rates. Measurement & Operating System • Define north-star metrics (growth, CAC: LTV, retention, share of search/SOV, brand health) and conduct disciplined experimentation. • Build simple dashboards and reliable forecasts; keep budgets predictable and maintain clean data. • Document our processes so that speed becomes a habit. Safety, Governance & Agility • Put safety first: human-in-the-loop reviews, privacy and brand-safety guardrails, and responsible AI and data use. • Evolve with the tech: change logs, model updates, and ongoing training to keep teams confident and up-to-date. What You Bring • AI‑competent (advanced, growing skill): applied use of AI to accelerate content, insights, media, and CRM—always with human oversight and safety in mind. • 7-10+ years in integrated marketing with 5+ years leading teams across brand, product marketing, comms, and digital. Experience in Professional Beauty is a must. • Proven success launching products and running omnichannel programs that hit revenue and margin goals. • Digital‑first operator fluent in modern martech (analytics/GA4, ad platforms, CRM/CDP, CMS/DAM) and pragmatic testing. • Sharp creative judgment, excellent writing, and a “what if / why not” challenger mindset grounded in empathy and ethics. • Nice‑to‑have: SQL/BI basics, prompt engineering/RAG familiarity, privacy & compliance awareness, Shopify or similar.
