Position Summary The Right Productions is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Box Office Manager to oversee all aspects of ticketing operations and front-facing customer service for the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre. The Box Office Manager will build out shows, oversee Box Office staff, manage ticketing and related customer service, provide accurate information and timely data to leadership at The Aretha and will collaborate closely with the marketing department and external partners to ensure seamless ticketing, event promotion, and guest experiences. The role reports to CEO. The position is seasonal and hybrid. Specific Responsibilities • Oversee all box office and ticketing operations for the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre. • Build, manage, and maintain shows within the ticketing system, ensuring accuracy in pricing, seating configurations, promotions, and on-sale timelines. • Supervise, train, and schedule Box Office staff to ensure high-quality customer service and efficient event-day operations. • Manage front-facing customer service, including handling escalated guest concerns, refunds, exchanges, and special accommodations. • Ensure accurate daily reconciliation of ticket sales, cash handling, and reporting procedures. • Provide timely and accurate ticketing data, sales reports, and performance insights to leadership • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align ticketing strategies with promotional campaigns and maximize sales performance. • Partner with promoters, artists, and external stakeholders to coordinate ticketing logistics and event execution. • Maintain compliance with internal controls, ticketing policies, and venue procedures. • Continuously assess and improve box office processes to enhance efficiency and guest experience. Qualifications • 5 or more years of experience in box office, ticketing operations, or venue management, preferably in live entertainment or performing arts. • Demonstrated experience building and managing events in a ticketing platform (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS, Eventbrite, or similar systems). • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and developing front-line staff. • Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities, with a calm and professional demeanor. • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. • Proficiency in reporting, data analysis, and financial reconciliation. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, production, and external partners. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules. • Passion for live entertainment and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
