Key objectives include fostering teamwork across service teams and all departments; promoting a professional image of the dealership with our customers, enhancing relationships, and maintaining high level of customer satisfaction; driving business growth through accurate planning and execution of business plans and market strategies, contributing to the overall success and expansion of the organization. Responsibilities · Regional Management and Oversight o Manage the regional territory, overseeing Service Managers, associates, and customer relations. o Supervise daily service department operations to maintain an organized flow of information. o Take ownership of P&L streams for all service lines under the aligned regional team, supporting Service Managers in reviewing/owning their P&L streams. · Performance and Improvement o Foster a culture of continuous improvement, emphasizing quality and timely results. o Mentor and coach managers and associates, encouraging training and development opportunities, and sharing job-specific knowledge. o Conduct regular evaluations of Service Managers’ performance against established metrics and goals. · Financial and Operational Control o Control and evaluate service department income and operating costs through business and budget planning, and P&L analysis. o Evaluate and take action based on month-end service reports for accuracy, trends, and improvement opportunities. · Communication and Collaboration o Maintain open communication among management, associates, departments, and Raymond. o Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to ensure process consistency. · Perform any other duties as assigned or required to support the company's overall operations and objectives. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions This position is classified as medium work, involving the operation of motor vehicles and heavy equipment, as well as movement to complete tasks or transition between work sites. Physical demands include the ability to frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity is necessary for equipment operation, computer use, writing, and handling materials. Clear articulation and voice control are essential for effective communication with both internal and external customers via telephone. Specific vision abilities essential for this role include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. This role entails working in a dynamic environment, encompassing both office-based tasks and visits to customer sites, involving regular interaction with internal and external customers. Travel to customer locations for sales calls and presentations is a requirement, potentially exposing the individual to diverse environments, including the risk of encountering harmful or corrosive chemicals if proper safety protocols are not followed. Additionally, the role often involves exposure to various outdoor weather conditions. The individual in this position must adeptly manage strict deadlines, shifting priorities, and a high volume of information flow while consistently upholding professionalism. Standard office equipment such as laptops and smartphones are routinely utilized, and noise levels typically range from moderate to high. Travel Requirements: This position travels up to 30% within their territory; Overnight travel at short notice may be required.
