Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, maintenance management, and facility operations. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained. The Facilities Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating maintenance activities, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities • Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to ensure the optimal performance of all facilities. • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all systems, including electric, steam and gas • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and resolve facility issues effectively. • Fabricate necessary components or systems as required for facility operations. • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards within the facilities. • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks. Experience • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field is essential. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the use of an ohmmeter for testing purposes. • Familiarity with maintenance management practices and principles. • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. • Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe working environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
