Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in drafting legal documents such as notices of depositions and subpoenas. Experience in Federal Court in the United States is essential, and knowledge of intellectual property (IP) law will be considered a significant advantage. Responsibilities • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files and evidence. • Conduct legal research using platforms. • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. • Manage case files through document management systems, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible. • Maintain communication with clients regarding case status and necessary documentation. • Collaborate with attorneys on project management tasks related to ongoing litigation matters. • Perform data entry tasks accurately while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. • Provide executive administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars. Requirements • Proven paralegal experience in a law office setting is required; familiarity with litigation processes is essential. • Exceptional writing skills with experience in legal drafting, proofreading, and transcription. • Ability to conduct thorough legal research and effectively summarize findings. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective client communication. • Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing and data entry is beneficial.
