Senior Java Software Engineer Location: Chicago, IL – hybrid onsite 3 days per week Rate: $70w2 Industry: Financial Services NO C2C or 3rd Party help in any form NO SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE Join a growing Cloud Platform team within a premier financial services firm, contributing to the development and modernization of the Global Family Office (GFO) SaaS solution. This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior-level developer to lead cloud-native initiatives and shape the future of enterprise applications. Required Qualifications • 7+ years of Java development experience (Java 17+) • Deep expertise in Azure (AKS, APIM, App Gateway, Key Vaults, Front Door, etc.) • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker • Mastery of Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security • Solid grasp of SDLC, Agile methodologies, testing, and release management • Background in financial services or wealth management • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Confluence • Cloud certifications (Azure) Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable backend components using Java (Spring Boot) • Analyze legacy applications and produce technical design documentation • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code • Lead debugging and troubleshooting efforts • Mentor junior developers and support issue resolution • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions #TECH #JAVA #LI-SD1 #Chicago #Hybrid
