Position: Microsoft 365 Administrator We are seeking a skilled and proactive Microsoft 365 Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure our Microsoft environment while supporting cybersecurity and compliance initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of collaboration technology and security best practices, particularly within regulated or government-aligned environments. Key Responsibilities: • Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools • Manage users, permissions, access controls, and security configurations across the Microsoft 365 tenant • Ensure systems are properly configured, secure, and aligned with industry best practices • Evaluate and enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture • Support compliance efforts aligned with government security standards such as NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 • Identify opportunities for system and process improvements within the Microsoft ecosystem • Deliver training sessions, documentation, or webinars to support user adoption and promote best practices Required Qualifications: • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, and core collaboration tools • Strong understanding of user management, security settings, and tenant-level administration • Proven ability to assess environments and implement security and operational improvements • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks relevant to government contracting (e.g., NIST SP 800-171, CMMC 2.0) • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support and train end users Preferred Qualifications: • Experience supporting organizations involved in federal or Department of Defense contracting • Knowledge of additional compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53 or FedRAMP • Experience conducting cybersecurity assessments or compliance readiness initiatives • Background in developing security documentation, policies, or procedures • Relevant Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, Azure, or security
