Marketing Technology Program Manager Location: Hybrid in Cupertino, CA Schedule: 40 hours Duration: 12 Months with potential to extend Pay: $87-$89.55/hr, DOE The Planet Group is looking for a Marketing Technology Program Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract, working a hybrid schedule in Cupertino, CA. This person will work with a wide variety of functional teams, with a focus on building technology solutions that enable and enhance meaningful programs with partners through our many communication channels. Marketing Technology Program Manager Qualifications: • BA or BS Degree preferred • 5-8 years of professional experience in project/program management, product marketing, or digital marketing • Creative thought leader with a passion for finding solutions to problems with technology • Deep understanding of effective marketing strategies in the digital and social landscape • Proficient hands-on knowledge of organic marketing channels and social platforms • Ability to communicate with confidence to leadership, co-workers, and external partners • Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a very dynamic environment • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Experience at cross-functional influence; translating between business owners and technical teams • Excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate clearly and concisely across multiple audiences and partners, including the ability to explain analytical outcomes and technical roadblocks in business terms • Work well under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects • Results-oriented, upbeat and focused with a strong passion to learn and succeed • Knowledgeable with Apple, Android, and Chrome ecosystems • Solid understanding of web technologies and CMS systems and can draft tools requirement docs and direct work of software engineers • Familiar with emerging engineering systems and experience in implementing key practices • Risk management experience including identification, mitigation and reduction tracking • Understanding of different project management techniques including Agile and waterfall • Understanding of digital image and video file formats, and proficiency with Sketch, Photoshop, and Adobe CC Marketing Technology Program Manager Description: • Identify marketing technology opportunities • Be part of a team that defines the future direction of the tools and technology, gathering requirements and distilling the key functionality needed to grow the Services businesses • Drive subscriptions, promote the business with creative tools, and save resources by finding unique solutions through technology • Identify creative strategies that will help drive earned and owned media, and growth of subscribers • Gather information from cross-functional teams, transforming ideas and concepts into tangible product requirements and roadmaps for tool development • Manage requests for web landing pages and creative assets and work with developers and marketing teams to deliver on schedule • Support set up, link testing, messaging and reporting for new affiliates, working to help the team deliver digital services trials and subscriptions • Determine capabilities and limitations of the team, and quantify associated risks and cost of new projects • Connect with engineering, production support, design, and product marketing to discuss upcoming product launches or changes that will impact marketing and partner tools • Daily management of the marketing tools roadmap with an external engineering agency and key internal stakeholders • Oversee product briefs and hold weekly meetings to ensure project timeliness and to update teams on progress • Assist in the setup of tracking and integration of API’s • Identify opportunities to grow suite of tools by understanding common, ongoing needs of the business • Establish yourself as a resource for internal teams and key external partners to help in day-to-day trouble shooting, education, and communication • Resource for internal teams globally, and key external partners to enable education of the team, and communication of roadmaps • Manage the implementation of new tools by provide training and creating documentation for the tools you oversee • Oversee tool performance • Communicate key information to executives via regular reports and launch summaries
