The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Charlotte seeking Continuous Improvement Managers who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and initiatives across manufacturing operations. • Lead and facilitate Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen events to optimize processes and eliminate waste. • Coach and mentor teams in continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving techniques. • Identify and analyze operational inefficiencies using data-driven approaches and performance metrics. • Drive the implementation of best practices, standard work, and visual management systems. • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track improvement progress and sustain gains. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, engagement, and accountability throughout the organization. Recommended Qualifications • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing environment. • Expert-level proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, DFSS), and other CI tools (e.g., VSM, Kaizen, 5S). • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) strongly preferred; Master Black Belt a plus. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field. • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and implement complex continuous improvement projects, driving cultural change and delivering measurable results. Bonus Qualifications • Experience integrating Continuous Improvement with Industry 4.0 initiatives or digital transformation projects. • Certification in Organizational Change Management (e.g., Prosci). • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. • Experience with advanced data analytics platforms or simulation software.
