JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Institute for the Study of Adult Literacy (ISAL) is seeking a Workforce Development Program Consultant responsible for assisting Workforce Development System Liaison Project staff. This role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including: Developing training for adult education program staff. Developing resources for programs. Contributing to the development of various written and online program deliverables. Other similar tasks that support Division-funded adult education programs in Pennsylvania. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Workforce Development or a related discipline plus one year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of, and experience with, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, workforce development, and career pathways. Knowledge in adult education theory and practice and English as a Second Language theory and practice are strongly desired. Strong organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to creatively solve problems. Experience using Microsoft Office products, Google Suite, and web conferencing tools. Project Timeline & Compensation: Duration: This is a fixed-term appointment for a maximum of 350 hours to be completed by June 30, 2026. Compensation: $75 per hour. Work Format: This is a remote, part-time position.
