Quality Control Administrator - Remote Part-time $19/hour with opportunities for bonuses and advancement Description: Are you motivated to protect and expand funding for emergency responders like firefighters and healthcare workers? Do you want to help maintain public services that support healthcare access, safeguard clean water, and safeguard clean water? Together, we can qualify several ballot measures that protect essential services and advance funding for fire departments and healthcare! With the goal of getting these measures on the ballot, our national political and organizing consulting firm is hiring part-time Quality Control Administrators to help with quality control for a signature validation project. You'll be part of a team of detail-oriented people doing the administrative work behind the scenes to make this ballot initiative successful. Positions start now with an expected end date of April 30th, 2026, there is a possibility of extension afterward. We can only hire folks who would be working from these states: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Unfortunately, we can't hire people who would be working from any other state. Role and Responsibilities:This position is Remote. QC Admins are required to sign up for 4 QC shifts per week (approximately 20 hours minimum), which must include at least 1 weekend day worked (preferably Sunday), with the potential for fewer shifts depending on workload or more shifts depending on workload. Shifts are available seven days a week, Sunday-Saturday, and run from 12:00 pm-5:00 pm ET with possible late shifts running from 6:00 pm-11:00 pm ET. Responsibilities include: • Visual inspection of signatures to determine accuracy and completeness • Using multiple platforms (3+) at once to cross-reference data • Detailed note-taking on the results of visual inspections Qualifications: Must Haves • Strong listening and communication skills. • Extreme attention to detail • Possesses a growth mindset, be trainable and open to new skills • Passionate about progressive issues and motivated by social change • Basic tech capacity and willingness to learn new technology • Trustworthy, professional and reliable • Fluent in English Nice to Haves • Comfort and skill at communicating with voters over the phone in both English and Spanish • Passion for increasing voter participation among communities whose voices are often silenced • Fluency with Google Sheets/Excel • Highly organized • A team builder - Motivated by the success of the team, group, and campaign. • Driven and goal-oriented • Previous experience phonebanking or in a call center is a plus • Previous experience doing QC or voter registration is a plus Compensation: $19/hour, with opportunities for bonuses and advancement.
