Position Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Bridge Engineer to serve in a hands-on technical leadership role. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who prefers to focus on design excellence and technical staff mentorship rather than project management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: • Lead technical bridge design for transportation projects, including ODOT and county/municipal agencies • Develop and review bridge plans, specifications, and calculations • Provide expert-level technical guidance on complex structural challenges • Perform detailed plan reviews for quality, code compliance, and constructability • Support QA/QC processes for bridge-related plan sets • Mentor junior technical staff and provide design guidance, including checking and review as needed • Maintain proficiency in current bridge design standards and software • Review and stamp bridge plans as Engineer of Record when required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering • 20+ years of bridge design experience • Professional Engineer (PE) license required • Extensive experience with ODOT and transportation bridge standards • Strong working knowledge of plan set development and design software Osborn is looking for a candidate who has the following characteristics: • Reliable • Team Player • Self – Starter • Positive Attitude • Strong Work Ethic • Critical Thinker • Detail Oriented • Innovative • Good Communicator EEO NOTE TO RECRUITERS: Osborn Engineering does not currently accept unsolicited resumes through or from search firms or recruiters.
