Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in all aspects of the restaurant. Duties • Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service. • Manage inventory control and ensure proper stock levels are maintained. • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. • Handle cash management and ensure accurate financial reporting. • Train, develop, and mentor staff to enhance their skills in customer service and food handling. • Conduct interviews and assist in hiring qualified team members. • Implement food safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations. • Oversee shift management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. • Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure quality food production and presentation. • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. Experience • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. • Strong background in food service management casual diner type concepts serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. • Experience with budgeting and financial management within a restaurant setting. • Demonstrated ability in staff training & development, leadership, and team management. • Knowledge of culinary practices, food production techniques, and catering services is preferred. • Familiarity with hospitality management principles is a plus. • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish is desirable. • Previous experience in line cooking and supervising kitchen staff is advantageous.
