Job Title: Live Continuing Education Training Specialist Department: Social Work | Research Administration The Electronic Learning Development Specialist reports to the PI of the Lifeline Training Series grant and is responsible for managing the process for the live trainings for the 988 Lifeline Training Series and other projects as assigned for the 988 Lifeline Training Series grant. This position is responsible for the creation of registration materials, meeting all board certification standards for two registration boards (Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, and the Ohio Chemical Dependency Board), managing registration, and evaluation of each participant to orchestrating reporting back to boards of each registrant’s information. Communicates with all presenters, handles contracts through the university process, and is responsible for ensuring accessibility accommodations for participants of all live 988 trainings. Must have full mastery of several databases and software tools, including, but not limited to: CE Broker, CarmenZoom, Workday, DocuSign, WordPress and Qualtrics. Works closely with marketing and communications on promoting all live 988 trainings through CarmenZoom and manages course evaluations for live trainings through Qualtrics. Oversees the creation and editing of reports about live trainings for continuing education to CE Broker as a requirement of the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board and the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board. Acts as a liaison with Office of Technology and Digital Innovation (OTDI) to troubleshoot system issues with all live courses and all live training customers internal and external to the university. Uses a variety of software and online applications to support processing of presenter payments and contracts, ensuring compliance with college and University policy. In addition, this position provides support to new presenters who develop course content and acts as a liaison to the Educational Technology office in the college. This position also assists with adding new live trainings to the Social Work website and liaises with a third-party team to manage the development and distribution of newsletters to advertise live trainings. Finally, the position submits applications for continuing education approval of live trainings to the Director of Continuing Education and keeps track of the approvals for each training. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work in a quick-changing, flexible environment. Desired Qualifications 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. The salary range for this position is $55,700 to $72,700 annually. The actual salary will fall within this range based on the candidate’s qualifications, internal equity, and the unit’s available budget. This is a position, which is grant funded and is contingent upon external funding availability. Responsibilities: Coordination, management, facilitation and evaluation of live continuing education trainings via a multitude of software programs. Ensure compliance with reporting requirements for two licensure boards: OCSWMFT (Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board) and OCDP (Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board). Manages the creation of 988 course registration through CarmenZoom and facilitates all non-content related aspects of 988 course development from recruitment of presenters and conception of topics through completion. Oversees the creation of all live 988 course registrations and evaluations through Canvas and Qualtrics. Develops and manages reports for internal purposes, creates and tracks data for grant funders, and reports CE completions to CE Broker, a state-required function for all continuing education programs, as needed. Serves as back up moderator of live events. General administrative and customer support assistance. Leads the management of the teams public inbox. Technical proficiency and software skilled with apps and software including: Workday, CarmenZoom, MailChimp, Adobe Acrobat, Caption Sync/Verbit, Qualtrics, and DocuSign.
