As a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Linux Kernel and Driver Development, you'll play a key role in shaping our products and making an impact on the industry. What You'll Be Doing: Linux Kernel Development: Design and develop kernel modules and device drivers that power our hardware. You'll optimize performance and reliability to keep our systems running smoothly at scale. System Troubleshooting & Debugging: When things go wrong, you'll dig deep to troubleshoot complex issues at the kernel level, working closely with hardware teams to debug and resolve integration challenges. Performance Tuning: You'll focus on enhancing the performance of our systems, diving into areas like memory management, process scheduling, and kernel optimization. Code Quality & Reviews: Conduct code reviews and advocate for best practices in kernel development. Help us keep our codebase clean, efficient, and ready for anything. Collaboration & Leadership: You'll work hand-in-hand with engineers across hardware, software, and QA to build integrated solutions. Plus, you'll mentor junior engineers, helping them grow while driving a culture of technical excellence. Hypervisor & Hardware Expertise: You'll focus on kernel development for the hypervisor stack, testing, debugging, and making sure everything runs smoothly across hardware and software. Root-Cause Analysis: With your troubleshooting expertise, you'll dive into hardware and software issues, conducting in-depth analysis to resolve the toughest challenges. What You'll Bring: Linux Kernel Mastery: You know the ins and outs of the Linux kernel process scheduling, memory management, file systems, and more. You've worked on optimizing kernel-level code and have a solid understanding of system internals. Hardware Know-How: Experience working with Smart NICs and DPUs (like Nvidia CX6/7 or BF3) is a big plus. If you've worked on kernel bypass or hardware offload, we'd love to hear about it. Debugging Expertise: You're a pro at debugging in kernel space, with strong experience working in both user space and kernel space to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Platform Savvy: You've ported and maintained Linux distributions for various platforms. Familiarity with tools like kexec, kpatch, and kdump? Even better. C Programming: You're an experienced C programmer, able to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
