What You'll Do as a Coating Machine Operator: • Operate coating machines to produce high-quality coated ink ribbon products. • Perform product changeovers, including roll exchanges, cleaning, threading, and filter changes. • Troubleshoot basic machine and process issues to keep production running smoothly. • Charge raw materials and solvents into mixing systems to create coating solutions. • Verify product quality through visual and machine inspections and make machine adjustments as needed. • May operate forklifts safely to transport materials and finished goods. • Assist in training new team members and support productivity improvement initiatives. Skills and Experience Work Experience The Preferred Candidate Might: • Have 1 year of experience operating machinery or chemical mixing/blending, as a plus • Have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks • Be experienced using measuring tools like micrometers, microscopes, and gauges • Have basic computer skills and the ability to perform mathematical calculations • Need the physical ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. • Have an Associate degree in a technical field as a plus!
