Our Organization is seeking a Music Therapist to provide music therapy services to the hospice patients and their families in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care. The music therapist assesses patients and families, devises a care plan, and implements the care plan. Additionally, the music therapist consults with others on As a member of the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team, the primary focus is to provide music therapy services to the hospice patients and their families in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care. The music therapist assesses patients and families, devises a care plan, and implements the care plan. Additionally, the music therapist consults with others on referrals to music therapy and on the therapeutic uses of music. Qualifications and Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy and/or Music Therapy. • Board Certified as a Music Therapist by the Certification Board for Music Therapy* • Hospice and Palliative Care Music Therapist preferred. • Completed an internship of at least 900 hours • Previous experience with terminally ill patients/families is preferred • Must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation and auto insurance Job Types: Temporary, Contract Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Experience: • Hospice : 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: • Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) (Required) Willingness to travel: • 75% (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
