Our insurance client is hiring a Senior Director of Information Technology. This individual will be responsible for leading the strategy, design, implementation and support of end-user technology services and platforms. This individual is also responsible for ensuring a secure digital experience, as well as productivity and collaboration for employees through modern workplace solutions. This person will work closely with the CIO and executive team. Qualifications: • 10+ years of IT leadership experience. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. • Experience leading IT operations in insurance industry or a similar complex regulatory environment. • Experience managing vendor negotiation and contract management. • Demonstrated success managing teams, overseeing projects, and supporting executives and board level stakeholders. • Experience overseeing virtual and physical infrastructure, end user technology, enterprise applications, and cloud solutions. Responsibilities: • Lead delivery for software distribution, desktop engineering, device management, and endpoint security. • Manage and mentor team members, determining goals and performance metrics. • Provide IT leadership for multiple business units and entities. • Oversee hardware and software, including procurement, deployment, and retirement of assets. • Manage Help Desk operations and a team of support specialists, ensuring timely resolution of service requests, tasks, incidents, etc. • Provide strategic direction and leadership for corporate Information Technology. • Oversee physical and virtual systems, including hardware, AV/IT systems, corporate collaboration platforms, and VDI environments. • Provide white-glove service and direct communication to executives. • Communicate with compliance and cybersecurity teams to ensure endpoint protection, data loss prevention, and patch management, as well as to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements. • Manage relationships with vendors, including contract negotiation and invoice approvals. • Foster environment of continuous improvement and innovation, encouraging collaboration and across departments, facilitating training sessions and IT webinars for employees. • Lead strategy for continuous improvement (i.e. user feedback initiatives, analytics, and service reviews)
