## Key Role Overview Responsible for performing the full sequence of cutting and welding operations for repair and fabrication work on a variety of metal components. The role involves aligning and welding components such as metal tools, wires, fixtures and other metal products, using multiple welding systems as needed, while maintaining a safe work environment. This position is a second-shift welding role that may include training apprentices and offers a competitive hourly wage with a comprehensive benefits package. ## Key Responsibilities - Perform the entire sequence of cutting and welding operations for a wide variety of repair and fabrication work. - Align and weld components of metal tools, wires, fixtures and other metal products. - Utilize different types of welding systems for different tasks as required. - Maintain a safe work area and follow all safety procedures and protocols. - May train and mentor apprentices in welding trade practices. ## Required Qualifications - Prior experience performing welding and cutting operations in a fabrication or repair environment. - Ability to align and weld metal components accurately and safely. - Familiarity with multiple welding systems and processes. - Commitment to maintaining a safe work area and following safety guidelines. ## Preferred Qualifications (if any) - Experience training or mentoring apprentices in welding techniques and shop practices. - Welding certifications or formal welding training (e.g., AWS certifications) are a plus. ## Compensation & Benefits - Compensation for this role ranges from $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, prior to shift differential; shift differential is an additional $1.00 per hour. - Alternate listed pay range in posting: $21.60 - $32.40 per hour. - Full benefits package included; benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and more. ## Additional Information - Location: Honeoye Falls, NY (300 W Main St.).
