The Marathon Companies (Marathon Roofing Products and MRP Supports) located in Orchard Park, NY is currently seeking part-time Warehouse Associates to join our growing companies. Position: Part Time Days (24 hrs per week); No Weekends No nights, holidays or weekends Pay Scale: $18-$19 per hour Description: Warehouse Associate Warehouse Job Duties: • Will be responsible for Quality Assurance, Shipping/Receiving, Loading/Unloading of trucks, Customer Pick-ups and general warehouse duties • Ships materials/products using UPS Worldship • Safely operation of forklifts and machines; including soldering • Organizes product in designated storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements • Prepares product for shipment; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems • Ability to lift, push & pull products which may weigh 60+ pounds on a regular basis • Documents actions by completing forms and reports • Monitors inventory by completing counts as required • Assembly, Inspection, and packaging of materials Qualifications: • Highly motivated & energetic personality required, with reference to validate traits • High school diploma or equivalency is required; Some college preferred • Experience leading a team or employees • Have a valid NYS driver license • Experience shipping/receiving; UPS Worldship preferred • Experience with forklift operation; OSHA Certified preferred • Ability to follow procedures and safety rules • Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions; an ability to work independently • Strong communication, and interpersonal skills, and problem-solver • Detail oriented to accurately process orders within specified deadlines Key Perks: The Marathon Companies offer competitive wages, affordable insurance, dental coverage, HSA programs, 401K plan, profit sharing, paid vacation / holidays, and more.
